My Favorite Crystals and the Best Crystals for Depression.

Because I do believe in crystals for depression!

True story, once upon a time I was a much angrier, miserable person. Now, we don’t need to go into the specifics here today but I can say that after years of struggling I do feel like I have made it over the precipice. From overwhelm and anxiety to peace and contentment, tons of practices have helped me get there.

While crystals may not be the cure-all, living a life of freedom starts one step at a time, and I think crystals play a large role in that. From eliminating limiting beliefs, learning to love yourself, and creating the momentum necessary, crystals can be essential to help with depression.

Why do I think crystals work?

Well, very much like a placebo effect, I think that crystals act as a conduit between what you want and how to get it. As in, if asking for it nicely isn’t enough, and you need something physical to believe in, that is the crystal’s job. Because I do believe that the universe is always working things out for you.

When your vibe is low and you’re struggling with feelings of anxiety and negative feelings, using crystals for depression is great! They give you something physical to hold onto and believe in!

Best crystals for depression.

In my personal experience, I have used amethyst, black tourmaline, and rutilated quartz to the best abilities. As for crystals for depression goes, I wear a necklace of rutilated quartz every day, and in the 5 years since I started, it has certainly helped me transform my life.

Amethyst is my second favorite because of it breaking addictive patterns and behaviors which are huge contributors to depression and anxiety. Black tourmaline is good for protecting from EMF which is good since i use electronics often.

  1. Great post! I need to charge my crystals. Especially since I’ve been in a slump. Never heard of rutilated quartz. Need to look into it.

  2. Wow, I need to invest in some Aquamarine and Amethyst. I recently put a couple of selentite crystals around my house. I have really bad headaches and the woman who sells crystals at my farmer’s market said they may help, plus purify the air. And I love them. I very rarely get headaches anymore. It’s amazing.

  3. I studied crystals years ago and still use the ones that were suggested for me. We also add crystals to our water. I am a firm believer in them and I can feel them when I pass my hand over them. I use this when buying something just for me.
Thanks for the blog, it brings awareness to those that are open minded.

    1. This is great! I’ve recently started reading about crystals. I am currently on medication for depression so I definitely need to get some Amethyst and aquamarine

  4. Amethyst is by far one of my favorite crystals. I have several different ones that I use for different things. Some times I just hold them as I meditate or have one in my pocket on an outdoor adventure. I’ve been seeing a lot about charging crystals – I think I better check that out! Thanks for the post!
